What a wonderful way to start our first day as RC NV. The Silver Springs Elementary and Middle Schools hosted a wonderful event which gave us the chance to meet the students and their families as well as the school staff. Several connections were made to include people interested in getting into the hobby, some who were previously in the hobby and looking to get reacquainted and teachers wanting us to come back and provide a STEM/STEAM experience for the students. Club President Jeremy, Robin and John volunteered their time to run the booth and answer the most popular questions of the day, “how much does that cost”.
